The San Gabriel Valley Energy Wise Partnership offers a variety of programs for city facilities and residents of the San Gabriel Valley.
- Comprehensive city facility energy efficiency project identification analysis in targeted City facilities. Comprehensive audits will be conducted in targeted cities within San Gabriel Valley. These audit reports will contain technical and financial analysis of the projects identified.
- Energy Action Plans (EAPs). Energy Action Plans will be completed for targeted cities in San Gabriel Valley. The EAPs will contain long range energy efficiency options for the Cities. Demand response and self generation strategies will also be briefly discussed.
- Commissioning and Retro Commissioning targeted to three cities. Commissioning opportunities will be explored with the targeted cities and scope of these activities will be developed.
- Three energy management workshops per year for public agency facility managers will be conducted. The workshops will include energy efficiency training for public agency facility managers. In addition, the program will provide an opportunity to review energy efficiency projects implemented by other government entities. These workshops may be coordinated with Edison’s Building Operator Certification (BOC) Program.
- Direct install efforts for small businesses in the targeted cities. The EDISON Direct Install Program will be marketed through cities and chambers of commerce.
- General awareness campaign to residents and businesses will increase awareness of energy efficiency programs and of the importance of energy conservation in maintaining a healthy environment, reducing costs, and creating other economic benefits. Four brochures will be distributed during the program cycle; these brochures will be distributed using local networks and organizations.
